For the understanding of the current transport in polycrystalline high‐Tc superconductors as technological relevant materials, the determination and understanding of magnetic flux and current density distributions is of vital importance. To visualize the local critical current density in superconductors with higher spatial resolution, the scanning x-rax microscope MAXYMUS is used for imaging at low temperatures. The imaging technique makes use of the interaction between the superconductor and a ferromagnetic sensor layer.
