I am writing my master thesis on privacy in deep neural networks at the MPI while attending the artificial intelligence master of the University of Amsterdam. Before I studied mathematics and computer science in Muenster, Bonn and Weimar. My major research interests are Machine Learning, Computational Statistics and Information Theory. Currently, I am in particular interested in Bayesian deep learning, information theoretic learning and representation learning. Before I worked on argumentation mining and group equivariant CNNs.
Our goal is to understand the principles of Perception, Action and Learning in autonomous systems that successfully interact with complex environments and to use this understanding to design future systems
