I'm working in the Robot Learning Lab, supervised by Jan Peters and within the Empirical Inference Department of Bernhard Schölkopf.
In December 2018, I completed my Master's thesis with Jan Peters and Dieter Büchler on applying Reinforcement Learning to a muscle based robot arm.
For the next few months in the robot learning lab, my goal is to transfer the results that we achieved in simulation during my Master's thesis to the real setup. Also, I want to collaborate with other members from our lab on learning table tennis with the 7-DOF Barrett Wam.
Our goal is to understand the principles of Perception, Action and Learning in autonomous systems that successfully interact with complex environments and to use this understanding to design future systems
